About the Role:

Join the Anytime Fitness team in Chicago as a Custodian/Cleaner, where your efforts will help create a welcoming and hygienic environment for our members. We are looking for a dedicated individual who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe space for fitness enthusiasts.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of gym equipment and facilities.
Maintain cleanliness in locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
Restock supplies, including towels and cleaning products, as needed.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
Follow safety and health regulations to ensure a safe environment.
Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment for events and classes.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to management promptly.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and clean atmosphere.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties and lift moderate weights.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all members.
